Black Goji Berry

We bet you didn’t hear that goji berry had a rare cousin - the black wolfberry - and for good reason too! It’s because the black goji berry is commonly found in Central Asia, particularly in the Himalaya regions. There, the berries are used for both medicine and culinary purposes because of their potent nutritional value and sweet flavor. Like the OG goji berry, the black goji is jam-packed with antioxidants to fight free radical damage in the body. They’re also great for boosting the immune system and improving circulation in the body. But the coolest part is the deep blue and purple color the berries give off when steeped as tea! 

Taste:  Sweet & Tangy (somewhat of a cross between a cherry and a cranberry)

Texture: Hard when dried ; slightly softer when rehydrated
